Assuming I decide to jump into PS. What is my first step ? I have a 4 year degree, management exp., sales exp., but no actual pharm. sales exp.

I know some companies offer to train. Do I try to find a company that will train me, or is it better to get the training on my own ? What kind of training do most companies require ?

Medical Career- Be a drug rep in pharmaceutical sales

Pharmaceutical Sales is an industry that pays all of its drug representatives well. Getting into this medical sales career is quite competitive. My book I Wanna Pharma Job- shows you what to do to get an interview with a top pharmaceutical company.

The formula for this pharmaceutical sales book is simple. I wrote this book for recent college graduates looking to begin an exciting medical sales career. This book provides a road map on how to get into the drug industry and become a successful drug sales representative while earning a generous yearly salary with additional bonuses.

Now is the time to get started on your new pharmaceutical sales career.

    Chad:

You are definately ahead of the game in terms of sales and management experience. Pharma companies look for people who have numbers that they can analyze from the previous industry that you are making the jump from. A sales manager wants to be able to benchmark you from your peers in terms of gauging how successful you were and how successful you would be for his/her team. As for training, Pharma companies provide all training for new hires. I maybe somewhat more difficult to understand the medical terminology and disease states. However, each company has their own rigorous program before they put you out into the filed. Check out my website and click on the "links/affiliate" page for over 100+ companies you can take a look at. Thanks
