I'm really happy for both of you. Can you share a little about your background and qualifications so I can get some sort of idea of my chances. I have 8 years at a pharmaceutical company behind the scenes, am currently a quality engineer at a missile manufacturing company. I have a BA in Biology, MBA in Global Management, and also have recently become certified as a Pharmaceutical Sales Rep. I don't think there is any background that excludes you from pharm sales, nor do I think that any background makes it automatic. Most on this board have great qualifications such as yourself, but have not found the right time and right place to gain employment. I think luck has as much to do with it as anything. If you have any b2b sales experience, it helps when it comes to getting into career fairs. If you want to be in pharm sales, keep your emotions in check and be prepared to weather the storm. The process could take a week or it could take what seems like forever. To answer your question, I think you are qualified.
