Hi, I am new to this site. I have been researching around about entry level pharma sales jobs for a while now. I graduated from undergrad in May 2008 with a degree in Biology. I currently work for a company where I sell medical equipment. I have been applying to many pharma sales jobs, but I havenít been getting calls back.
Any advice or help? I am not sure what else I should be doing. My resume is out there- but it doesnít seem like anyone is leeching on..

I own a medical device recruiting firm and we are seeing a lot of pharma reps resumes lately. Pharma companies are downsizing sales reps so I am not sure this is the best industry to pursue. If you already have medical sales experience you should consider medical device sales. You will need 2-3 years of top tier performance to make the transition so you might want to stay with your current company for a few more years.
