The online equivalent of a “friend-of-a-friend” pointed me to a fantastic resource for all the future pharmaceutical reps who read PharmBoard.com. CareerRamblings.com is a site where two corporate veterans team up and share their knowledge on career advancement, the job search, and an occasional op-ed. In their words,

John Anthony and Jane May have come together to write about their experiences in Corporate America and life in general. They bring to the table an interesting mix of knowledge and experience in hopes of creating an environment where everyone can learn from each other through their posts and readers’ comments.

Sounds pretty broad, right? I’d encourage you to dig a little deeper to find some real gems among their growing list of posts. More specifically, the career category is a great place to start. A short list of some of the topics includes informational interviews, interview tactics and questions, salary negotiation, resume blunders, and PharmBoard.com’s favorite subject - networking.
