What did your supervisor list as your areas of improvement on your last performance evaluation?

Be honest and briefly outline your performance appraisal process. The interviewer is looking for two things.

  1. Do you know (are you really working on these things?
  2. What are your areas of improvement?

After you’ve outlined the process, highlight the two main areas that need improvement. Without much detail of how you arrived at those areas of improvment, focus on the exact steps you are taking to develop those areas professionally.

Thanks for the hints! Now I know what an interviewer is looking for. Not very useful if it’s the first job though, but still, good to know!
